The best thing to do control candida is to make sure you never let your system get out of balance to the point that candida thrive. Here are a few tips:
- Eat fewer sugary and acidic foods - this will make sure your system isn't a breeding round for candida
- Supplement with probiotics - probiotics are helpful keeping your system balanced especially if you are using antibiotics
- Protect yourself - if your partner may have a yeast infection, make sure you use protection
